Patrick Doherty First Vice President Investments
Patrick Doherty is a co-founder of Doherty Houston Industrial Group within Marcus & Millichap. He specializes in the acquisition and dispositions of single-tenant industrial assets across the country.
Patrick joined the firm in 2012 and earned the company’s Pacesetter Award for his high standard of performance in his first year and is a member of the National Office and Industrial Properties Group (“NOIPG”) and Net Leased Properties Group (“NLPG”). Since joining Marcus & Millichap, he's been directly involved in over 140 transactions.
Patrick tailors his advisory approach to meet the needs of his national client base which includes developers, institutions, REITS and private investors. Aside from assisting in the sale of these properties, he provides sounds advice as his clients evaluate financing opportunities, lease renewal negotiations, and estate planning options.
David Houston First Vice President Investments
David Houston co-founded Doherty Houston Industrial Group within Marcus & Millichap with Patrick Doherty in 2018. He has been directly involved in over 140 investment sales transactions in 30 states while with Marcus & Millichap, as well as, various redevelopment projects in the Austin area.
He represents individuals, partnerships, REITs, syndicators and developers in acquisitions, dispositions and 1031 Exchange transactions. He values his client relationships built on a foundation of integrity, transparency and mutual trust. His services include property valuations, lease/lease renewal advisory, dispositions, and acquisitions nationwide.
Charlie Anderson Associate
Charlie Anderson is an industrial specialist in the Doherty Houston Industrial Group at Marcus & Millichap. Prior to joining DHIG, Charlie started a landscaping business to pay his way through his education at Texas Tech University. Upon earning his degree in landscape architecture, he decided to apply the focus and skillsets he developed by operating his own company to find and develop opportunities in the commercial real estate investment sales market.
For Charlie, the most meaningful takeaways from owning his own business are his entrepreneurial spirit, as well as the values of communication, integrity, and accountability.
During his off time, Charlie enjoys being with his wife and daughter doing activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and relaxing at the beach.
Sharon Monagas Associate
Sharon Monagas represents landlords across the country in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net-leased industrial assets. She takes pride in building her business on the principles of integrity, work ethic, and consistency to developing meaningful relationships with her clients.
Sharon joined Marcus & Millichap's Doherty Houston Industrial Group in early 2022 as a market research analyst, managing and expanding a database of over 9,000 property owners. She has gained insight into commercial real estate market trends, challenges, and opportunities, which enables her to advise clients based on their individual management and cashflow, and risk tolerance criteria.
Sharon grew up in Austin, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. Additionally, her involvement in the McCombs Texas Real Estate Center and the Hispanic Business Student Association allowed her to develop an understanding of the marketplace. In her free time, Sharon enjoys hiking, practicing instruments, and enjoying the city's live music scene.
Sierra Bartholomew Executive Administrator
Sierra Bartholomew is the Executive Administrator of Doherty Houston Industrial Group, providing superior administrative support to the agents on her team, and is also a liaison between the agents and the Marcus & Millichap staff. Sierra manages team procedures, prepares all marketing materials, manages marketing and escrow timelines, and assists with business development.
Sierra began her commercial real estate career in 2000 at The Kucera Companies, working as a Leasing and Marketing Coordinator. She prepared, processed and tracked the lease documents for office buildings managed by the company while also directing the administration of its marketing department.
After Kucera, Sierra worked as a Brokerage Assistant and Intern Coordinator for The Weitzman Group. There she managed the marketing and leasing of approximately 50 retail properties between 4 and 14 agents, while supervising five interns who ran various tasks for the company.
